Dr. Nora Garza, MD is a Family Medicine Specialist in San Antonio, TX and has over 35 years of experience in the medical field. She has two clinics in San Antonio which welcome new patients and telehealth appointments.
Dr. Garza was born in Brownsville, Texas and attended St. Mary’s University in San Antonio where she graduated with honors. She attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston and completed her residency program at the Baylor College of Medicine Family Practice Program. Dr. Garza entered community medicine work for the first decade of her career. During these first years of her career she developed a strong sense of commitment to populations at risk.
Dr. Garza has been awarded the additional title of Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice as a recognition of her life long work in family medicine.
She has been working in the San Antonio area since 2000, helping patients manage their chronic health conditions that include diabetes, hypertension, liver disorders, elevated cholesterol, depression, health maintenance issues and other conditions.
Starting Garza Medical Group evolved as a natural extension of her 30 years of practice.
